What a wonderful experience this is to be here at the Missionary Training Center. The Spirit is so strong. It feels wonderful to be a part of such a great group of people who are as excited to go clear across the world to help spread the Gospel as we are.
It has been such a joy getting to know you and Brother Beckstead here at the MTC. I have really loved being in your district and sharing investigator practice with you. Well, enjoy is kind of a strong word connected with 'investigator practice'. Thanks Brother Beckstead for shedding tears with the experience that I shared about our sons accident. Brother Phelps said this about you, "You can tell he has a tender heart." :-) I know that you will do much good in your area service and I'm glad you get to "Schmooze" with the powers that be. (According to President Hatfield, right?) Don't come back to fat! HAHA! Both Brother Phelps and I are looking forward to following you on your grand adventure in the Orient!
